My name is Makita! I am a 20 year old female Greenwing Macaw. I am blind in both eyes. I am very sweet once I get to know you. I prefer men but will go to both. I have a large vocabulary. I will to pick it up if you drop something and I will ask where is the baby. My favorite food is grapes. I am a macaw and because I am the 2nd largest of the macaw species I am especially loud and will not do well in an apartment.

Adoptions are not 'first come, first served'; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.    We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, ND.

We charge an Adoption Fee for each adoptable parrot.  Adoption Fees are based on the discretion of the Board of Directors.
