This is Sammie. She is a Medium Sulfur Crest Cockatoo. She seems to prefer men. She will most likely choose one person to be 'hers' and has been known to try and chase others away if she thinks they are a threat.  This is common behavior in lots of larger or smaller birds. She loves to cuddle and talk.  Sammie can get very loud and could not live in an apartment. 

Cockatoo experience highly recommended.

Adoptions are not 'first come, first served'; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.    We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, ND.

We charge an Adoption Fee for each adoptable parrot.  Adoption Fees are based on the discretion of the Board of Directors.
