Meet Hammie! Hammie is a 29 year old male Umbrella Cockatoo. Hammie loves his fruits and veggies with grapes being his favorite. Hammie does not do well around other parrots. He likes being the only parrot in the home. He loves playing peek-a-boo. Like most male Cockatoos he can be unpredictable and nip with out warning. He can also be very loud so he will not do well in an apartment.

Adoptions are not 'first come, first served'; we strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.    We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only within a 200-mile radius of Fargo, ND.

We charge an Adoption Fee for each adoptable parrot.  Adoption Fees are based on the discretion of the Board of Directors.
