My name is Waffle. I am an estimated 5 year old female Lovebird. My species are called Lovebirds because the name means "birds that love each other". We are often found snuggled up to each other in pairs. My species can live up to 20 years. I am more partial to men but with patience and training I could move past that. Do not underestimate the power of my species. We are bold, curious but easygoing. We are also affectionate and intelligent like larger parrots. I can be territorial of my cage but once away from my cage I am not as territorial. I will need lots of social interaction and stimulation. I love chewing up wood so I will need lots of toys to keep me occupied and happy. I could do well in an apartment or home. Note: We do not ship parrots and generally adopt only in a 200 mile radius of Fargo, North Dakota. A pre-adoption home visit is required by a member of our adoption committee for every adoption. Adoptions are not first come, first served. We strive to find the most appropriate home for each parrot.
